rebrand of the museo del hombre dominicano in the dominican republic, which houses the most comprehensive collection and history of the life of the tainos in the caribbean. for this project i looked into how this museum could benefit from new graphics and a new wayfinding system.
the new name and branding are meant to elevate the value of its archive by reigniting interest and highlighting how the tainos contributed to the culture we know today. the new name is meant to better define the museum's purpose and the branding was constructed out of abstracted shapes found in taino sculptures and art. Branding materials were designed in both english and spanish to encourage international outreach.
